Due to continuous heavy rainfall, severe waterlogging, and adverse weather conditions across the National Capital Region (NCR), the ground conditions at designated test venues were declared unfit for safe athletic testing.

Why Was the Delhi Police PE&MT 2026 Postponed?
Physical testing for Delhi Police Constable posts requires outdoor athletic tracks for the 1600-meter running event, long jump pits, and high jump setups. Monsoonal downpours across Delhi-NCR flooded running tracks and softened landing pits.
To prevent physical injuries during high-speed runs and vertical jumps, the Delhi Police Recruitment Board deferred the tests for affected batches. Rescheduling ensures that candidates compete under fair and uniform physical conditions.
