SSC CHSL 2026 applications open for 2,536 posts, check dates, fees and selection process

SSC CHSL Notification 2026: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the notification for the Combined Higher Secondary (10+2) Level Examination, 2026, inviting applications for approximately 2,536 tentative Group C vacancies. The recruitment covers posts including Lower Divisional Clerk (LDC), Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA), Data Entry Operator (DEO) and DEO Grade ‘A’ in various Ministries, Departments and Offices of the Government of India.The SSC CHSL Recruitment 2026 notification was issued on September 7, 2026, under Advertisement No. HQ-C1102/5/2026-C-1. Eligible candidates can submit applications through the official SSC website from September 7 to October 7, 2026, up to 11:00 PM. The recruitment is open to candidates who have passed Class 12 or an equivalent examination from a recognised board.SSC CHSL 2026 application datesThe online application process has started along with the release of the notification. Candidates must complete the application and pay the applicable fee within the prescribed deadlines.

The recruitment has approximately 2,536 tentative vacancies for LDC, JSA, DEO and DEO Grade ‘A’ posts. LDC and JSA positions carry Pay Level 2, ranging from Rs. 19,900 to Rs. 63,200. Applicants should have been born between August 2, 1999, and August 1, 2008.
