SSC has announced around 2,536 tentative vacancies through the CHSL recruitment drive. The posts covered under the examination include LDC, JSA, DEO and DEO Grade ‘A’.

Who Can Apply for SSC CHSL 2026?
The SSC CHSL examination is open to candidates who have completed Class 12 or an equivalent qualification from a recognised board.
For age eligibility, candidates should be 18 to 27 years old as on August 1, 2026. Applicants should have been born between August 2, 1999, and August 1, 2008.
Candidates belonging to eligible reserved categories can claim relaxation in the upper age limit according to the applicable government rules.
SSC CHSL Application Fee
Candidates from the UR, OBC and EWS categories who are eligible to pay the examination fee have to pay Rs. 100.
Women candidates, SC, ST, PwBD and ESM candidates are exempt from the application fee.
