SSC Releases CHSL 2026 Recruitment Notice, Invites 12th Pass Candidates to Apply

As per F. No. HQ-C1102/5/2026-C-1, the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the recruitment notification for 2536 Group ‘C’ posts under SSC CHSL 2026. The recruitment includes posts such as Lower Divisional Clerk (LDC)/Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA) and Data Entry Operator (DEO). SSC CHSL 2026 Vacancy

The Staff Selection Commission has released the SSC CHSL Vacancy 2026 along with the recruitment notification. As per the recruitment details, a total of 2536 SSC CHSL vacancies have been announced for Group C posts, including Lower Divisional Clerk (LDC)/Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA) and Data Entry Operator (DEO). SSC CHSL 2026 Eligibility

Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed Class 12 (10+2) or an equivalent examination from a recognized Board or University. Therefore, SSC CHSL 2026 12th pass candidates who meet the prescribed eligibility criteria can apply.

Age Limit: Candidates must be 18 to 27 years of age, reckoned as on 01 August 2026 (i.e., born between 02 August 1999 and 01 August 2008).

Candidates can pay the application fee online through BHIM UPI, Net Banking, or Visa/Mastercard/Maestro/RuPay Credit or Debit Cards. The fee can also be paid in cash through an SBI Bank Challan at SBI Branches.

How to Apply Online for SSC CHSL 2026 – Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 1: Visit the official SSC website at ssc.gov.in.

Step 2: Under the Notice section, click on the “Apply” link for SSC CHSL 2026.

Step 3: Complete the registration process by entering your basic details, including name, email ID and mobile number, to generate your registration ID and password.

Step 4: Use the generated credentials to log in and complete the application form by providing your personal details, educational qualification and communication address.

Step 5: Upload the scanned copies of your photograph and signature according to the specified format and size.

Step 6: Select your preferred examination centres. Candidates must ensure that all three centre choices are within the same SSC Region.

Step 7: Pay the application fee online, if applicable, using the available payment modes.

The SSC CHSL 2026 Selection Process includes the following stages:

1. Tier-I: Computer Based Objective Exam

2. Tier-II: Computer Based Exam (Objective sections + Skill Test/Typing Test)

3. Document Verification
