• Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed 12th Standard or an equivalent examination from a recognised Board or University as of the cutoff date, October 7, 2026.

• Age Limit: 18 to 27 years as of August 1, 2026 (candidates born between August 2, 1999, and August 1, 2008).

• Age Relaxation: Permissible relaxations include 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC, and 10 years for PwBD (Unreserved).

• Nationality: Candidates must be citizens of India, subjects of Nepal/Bhutan, or eligible persons of Indian origin as defined by standard rules.

• Tier 1: Objective CBE is used to short-list candidates for the next stage.

• Tier 2: An objective test determining the merit list based on aggregate marks in Section-I and Section-II.

• Typing Test for JSA: Part C of Section-IV. Evaluates typing speed on a computer (35 w.p.m. in English or 30 w.p.m. in Hindi) over 10 minutes. It is qualifying in nature.
