The Staff Selection Commission has published the city intimation details for the Combined Graduate Level Examination, 2026 (Tier-I). Candidates can check their city intimation slip on the official website, ssc.gov.in.
The Tier 1 exam will take place from September 30 to October 30, 2026. Note that the city intimation slip is not the admit card. The admit card will be released after the city intimation slip.
This recruitment aims to fill about 12,256 Group B and Group C posts in central government departments, ministries, and organisations.
As per the official notification issued by the Commission, the admission certificate or hall ticket for Tier-I will tentatively be available for download two to three days prior to the respective examination date of the candidate.
Candidates availing of the ‘own scribe’ facility must complete a fresh scribe registration on the official portal. The Commission disposed of all scribe registrations recorded before November 05, 2025. Scribe registration is now integrated with Aadhaar authentication, making fresh enrolment compulsory for all personnel serving as scribes.
Candidates must submit or map their scribe’s registration number to generate the Scribe Entry Pass. The maximum age limit for personnel acting as scribes will adhere to the updated policy dated November 04, 2025 (Policy No. PP001/14/2024-PP (e-10280)).
Mapping of the scribe One-Time Registration must be completed by September 24, 2026, up to 11:00 PM. Entry passes will be generated solely for candidates who successfully map their scribe details before the deadline.
