Latest RRB Vacancy 2026-27
Indian Railways is preparing for a new recruitment drive for 5,664 Level 6 and Level 7 posts. The vacancies are mainly focused on supervisory and technical roles required for railway operations, maintenance, supervision and administration.
Out of the total vacancies, 2,292 posts are under Level 6, while 3,372 posts are under Level 7. In the first phase, 2,832 posts, representing 50% of the total, are proposed to be filled.

5,664 New Posts and 21,978 Vacant Posts to Be Filled in PhasesÂ
The Latest RRB Vacancy 2026-27 recruitment plan includes 5,664 sanctioned posts, along with 21,978 existing vacant posts. The positions are advised to be filled in phases. In the first phase, 50% of the sanctioned posts, i.e., 2,832 posts, along with the 21,978 vacant posts, may be filled. Once these posts are filled up to 80%, the remaining recruitment may be taken up in the second phase.
