SARKARI JOBS: SSC CGL 2026 registration closes today, apply now for 12,256 vacancies


The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will close the registration window for the Combined Graduate Level (CGL) Examination 2026 today at 11 pm. The SSC CGL 2026 registration process began on May 21, 2026. Eligible and interested candidates can apply through the official website, ssc.gov.in

While the registration deadline ends on June 22, applicants will be able to pay the application fee until June 23, 2026. The Commission has also provided a correction facility for candidates who wish to edit details in their submitted applications. The correction window will remain open from June 29 to July 1, 2026.

The recruitment examination is being conducted to fill approximately 12,256 vacancies across various ministries, departments and government offices.

  • Visit the official website: ssc.gov.in

  • Complete One-Time Registration (OTR) if you are a new user. Existing users can log in with their credentials.

  • Click on the ‘Combined Graduate Level Examination (SSC CGL) 2026’ application link.

  • Fill in the required personal, educational and communication details carefully.

  • Select preferred examination centres and other required options.

  • Upload a live photograph and scanned signature in the prescribed format.

  • Preview the application form and verify all details before submission.

  • Pay the application fee through available online payment modes, if applicable.

  • Submit the application form.

  • Download and save the confirmation page for future reference.

The SSC CGL examination is conducted for recruitment to several posts, including assistant audit officer, assistant accounts officer, assistant section officer, inspector of income tax, inspector (central excise), inspector (preventive officer), inspector (examiner), assistant enforcement officer, sub-inspector, executive assistant, research assistant, junior statistical officer, auditor, accountant and tax assistant.

According to the official notification, candidates are advised to carefully verify all details before submission of the online application. They are also advised to retain a printed copy of the application form for future reference.
