The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has officially released the SSC MTS Havaldar Result 2026 along with the category-wise cut-off marks on 3 August 2026. Along with the result, SSC has also published the detailed examination statistics, giving candidates a clear picture of the competition this year.

According to the official data, 36,19,834 candidates applied for the SSC Multi-Tasking (Non-Technical) Staff and Havaldar (CBIC & CBN) Examination 2025. Out of them, 8,04,633 candidates actually appeared for the Computer-Based Examination conducted between 4 February and 20 February 2026.

Minimum Qualifying Marks in SSC MTS Havaldar Exam 2026

Candidates were required to secure the minimum qualifying marks in both Session I and Session II of the Computer-Based Examination.

How Were Candidates Shortlisted?

SSC shortlisted candidates based on the following criteria:

  • Performance in Session II of the Computer-Based Examination.

  • Score normalization across multiple shifts.

  • Post and CCA preferences submitted during the application process.

  • Shortlisting ratio of approximately 1:7 (vacancies to candidates) for PET/PST.

Only candidates who qualified Session I were eligible for evaluation of Session II.

What Happens After SSC MTS Havaldar Result 2026?

Candidates shortlisted in the result must now appear for:

Candidates who qualify the PET/PST will proceed to the final merit stage.

Those who fail PET/PST will not be considered for the Havaldar post. However, if they qualify for Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS) based on merit, their candidature for the MTS post will remain valid.
