The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has issued important information for candidates appearing for the Phase-XIV/2026/Selection Posts Examination. The Computer Based Examination (CBE) is scheduled to be held from September 16 to September 26, 2026.Candidates can check their examination city details by logging into the designated login module on the official SSC website.The Commission has also shared instructions regarding the Admission Certificate and the use of the Own Scribe facility.
SSC Selection Post Phase 14 exam city details
Candidates can view their examination city details by logging into the designated module on the SSC website.The Commission has advised candidates to check the details carefully and make arrangements to appear for the examination accordingly.
Admission certificate to be available before exam
The Admission Certificate for the Selection Posts Phase XIV/2026 examination is expected to be available for download two to three days before the respective examination date.Candidates will be able to download it through the designated login module on the SSC website.The Commission said detailed instructions regarding the Admission Certificate were provided in its notice published on April 13, 2026.
Fresh registration required for own scribe facility
Candidates who want to use the Own Scribe facility may have to complete fresh scribe registration on the SSC website.The Commission said that the earlier scribe registrations, which were valid until November 5, 2025, have been disposed of. Therefore, candidates who want to enrol or appear as a scribe must complete a fresh registration.The scribe registration process has now been integrated with Aadhaar Authentication. This means all persons willing to register as scribes are required to complete the fresh registration on the Commission’s website.
Scribe OTR mapping deadline
Candidates who have opted for the Own Scribe facility will have to submit their scribe’s registration number for generating the Scribe Entry Pass.Candidates who have opted for their own scribe can map their scribe’s One-Time Registration (OTR) until September 11, 2026, at 11 pm.The Commission has clearly stated that the Scribe Entry Pass will be generated only for candidates who successfully map their scribe’s OTR.The maximum permissible age limit for persons appearing as an Own Scribe will be as per the updated policy issued by the Commission. Other guidelines related to the scribe facility will remain unchanged as mentioned in the examination notice.Candidates appearing for the SSC Selection Post Phase XIV/2026 examination should regularly check the official SSC website for further updates and download their Admission Certificate once it is released.
